Under the policy spirit of the "Several Policies for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Integrated Circuit Industry and Software Industry in the New Era" (Guo Fa [2020] No. 8), Shenzhen has been vigorously promoting the high-quality development of the software industry in recent years. A series of policies have been successively introduced, including the "Several Measures for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Software Industry in Shenzhen" and the "Several Measures for Building a Pioneer City of Artificial Intelligence in Shenzhen", aiming to create a "National Digital Economy Innovation and Development Pilot Zone" and an "International Software City". Under the guidance of the China Software Industry Association, the Shenzhen Software Industry Association has launched high-quality software product evaluation services based on software product assessment, in order to cross-departmental and cross-field coordinate local policy resources and market resources, and promote the wide application and rapid growth of fundamental and innovative high-quality software products. After a comprehensive assessment by the Shenzhen Software Industry Association, the UDB-TX software of Universal Database has been awarded the High-Quality Software Product Certification Certificate. This indicates that the technical strength and product quality of   Universal Database's products in the field of database basic software have been highly recognized by authoritative institutions.

Shenzhen Universal Database Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Universal Database" or "the Company") was established on December 21, 2021. Focusing on the "bottleneck" technology field of domestic database management systems, Universal hyper-converged AI database products with a new generation architecture are created. The core technical team is composed of professors from renowned universities such as Peking University in the field of data security and former experts in the field of Oracle database kernel engineering.

The company aims to build the first brand of domestic hyper-converged databases, providing customers with value such as security, reliability, cost reduction and efficiency improvement. By offering one-stop hyper-converged database management software, it strives to become a leading database enterprise in China (among the top three) within 3 to 5 years.

As of July 2025, 19 invention patents have been applied for, 17 invention patents have been authorized, 20 software Copyrights have been obtained, and there are over 50 manufacturers with various information technology innovation adaptation certifications, with more than 100 products.
